CHILDREN & FAMILIES
Ministries
Commitment
Campbellford Baptist Church is committed to our community's children and families.
First, by committing to guide and equip parents with tools and resources to help them be the primary spiritual influencers in their home.
Second, we commit to teaching and reinforcing God's truths to children and families through a variety of creative and relevant means.
Third, by providing weekly programs to meet these commitments.
CHILD DEDICATION
Campbellford Baptist Church sanctions “child dedications.” This is a public commitment that the parents make before God, their church and their family, expressing their desire to spiritually nurture their child so that one day he or she will personally accept Jesus Christ as his or her Saviour and Lord, and by so doing will have an increased desire to love God and others. So, while we refer to this as “child dedication” in reality it is "parental commitment" on behalf of their child—a commitment to raise their child to in a home dedicated to knowing and serving Jesus as Saviour and Lord. If you are interested in presenting your child(ren) and dedicating yourselves to nurturing your child in the things of Christ, please contact Pastor Nathan Denhoed.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Children from Kindergarten through to Grade 6 attend the first part of the Worship Service. During the Children's Moment, they are dismissed and head to Sunday school, where they will learn Bible stories, sing songs, and participate in activities or crafts.
Every Sunday school morning begins with a time of worship. We sing favorite songs, spend time praying for each other and learning to Worship God.
Sunday School is held September to June annually and during the summer months Junior Church is held in its place.
